2018 LIEUTENANT & CAPTAIN / SECOND & THIRD-LINE SUPERVISOR COURSE

P.T.S. Announces Our “On-Target” online home-study promotion course to prepare you for the 2018 LIEUTENANT & CAPTAIN PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS
(being held this coming September)

Police Tutorial Service, Inc. (P.T.S.) will conduct an intensive nine (9) week home-study
course to prepare you for this competitive examination. The course will begin the week of
JULY 1, 2018 and will end the week of AUGUST 26, 2018.

The course materials include P.T.S. DIGESTS, SUMMARIES, GUIDES, BREAKDOWNS,
PRACTICE QUESTIONS and AUDIO PRESENTATIONS covering:

LAW: Penal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Family Court Act, Vehicle and Traffic Law, Ancillary Statutes, and U.S. Supreme Court and N.Y. Court of Appeals Decisions

SUPERVISION OF POLICE PERSONNEL

POLICE ADMINISTRATION

LAW ENFORCEMENT METHODS & PRACTICES

READING INTERPRETATION

This 9 session course will be comprehensive and will cover all of the topics that will be on your exam!

Once you register for the course, you will have immediate access to the Welcome Session containing the P.T.S. Techniques for Answering Civil Service Questions and the course introductory audio presentation with a breakdown of the subject matter areas of the exam, the reference source texts and how the course will run. Session #1 will become available to you on July 1, 2018, and each week a new online session will become available to you. You will have continuous access to all of the sessions and course materials posted to your account through the date of the exam.
