2013 LIEUTENANT & CAPTAIN COURSE
P.T.S. Announces Our “On-Target” online home-study promotion course to prepare you for the upcoming
LIEUTENANT & CAPTAIN PROMOTION EXAMINATIONS
SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 5, 2013
Police Tutorial Service, Inc. (P.T.S.) will conduct an intensive nine (9) week home-study course to prepare you for this competitive examination. The course will begin the week of JUNE 30, 2013 and will end the week of AUGUST 25, 2013.
All sessions include P.T.S. DIGESTS, SUMMARIES, GUIDES and/or BREAKDOWNS together with PRACTICE QUESTIONS and AUDIO LECTURES covering:
• SUPERVISION OF POLICE PERSONNEL
• POLICE ADMINISTRATION
• LAW - Penal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Family Court Act,
Vehicle and Traffic Law, Ancillary Statutes and
U.S. Supreme Court and N.Y. Court of Appeals Decisions
• LAW ENFORCEMENT METHODS & PRACTICES
• READING INTERPRETATION
This 9 session course will be comprehensive and will cover all of the topics that will be on your exam!
TUITION: $300 for the FULL 9 SESSION COURSE.

Once you register for the course you will have access to the P.T.S. Techniques for Answering Civil Service Questions guide. The 1st of 9 course sessions will become available to you on June 30, 2013, and each week a new online session will become available to you. You will also receive the 2013 PENAL LAW and CRIMINAL PROCEDURE LAW DIGESTS by mail. You will have continuous access to all of the sessions and course materials posted to your account through the date of your exam.
